We are located in Seattle. Bring your camera by and I can give you a unit for the day to test.

in LA....

for photo stuff check out samy's on fairfax in hollywood. great store. big used section with lotsa lenses. the place is huge, like 5 floors. calumet is another cool place. more boutique but less stuff to see..

i like simon's in hollywood. no frills but good deals.

for video stuff there are lots of places. here are a few i like.

EVS in glendale is great. lots of stuff on display to play with. cool guys too. i think they stock redrock adapters.

Abel cine tech in burbank is awesome. not a lot of display. more personalized service and high end gear. they have the cool phantom hd high speed cams.

Bandpro in burbank is great too. kinda like abel cine but different stuff. they are the big sony guys in town.

for film stuff like lights, grip, camera support, etc...

filmtools in burbank is great. huge place with lots of toys on display. not the best prices but a great place to put your hands on gear. it's like a walmart of film stuff. if you like gadgets and gizmos, don't miss it.

studio depot in hollywood on la brea is kinda the same thing as filmtools. huge selection but even higher prices. they are part of mole richardson. they have a lighting showroom there as well.
