First, let me thank you ever so much for your footage. It's wonderful to have someone take the time and effort to post something that is anxiously awaited, and you're confirming what I've suspected, that we have the first truly usable hybrid camera ever made with the GH1.

However, as someone who obviously has the camera, I have a question.

Is there a specified limit to the duration of the recording of video?

I've read some vague allusions to a 30 minute limit, and that there's a countdown that shows in the viewfinder when shooting video, starting from 29 minutes on down to what I assume is zero.

If this is the case, is this a finite limit in every video mode? 1080p, 720p, 24fps/60i, AVCHD and/or MJPEG?

Please forgive me if this question has been diffinitively answered previously.

Once again, thank you very much for your time and efforts.

According to early intel. The duration is only limited by the size of your memory card. Kholi had his Japanese model going for close to an hour.

Thanks Isaac and Airnational what Kholi reported is what I'm getting. I haven't let it run on record but after shooting that stuff today I still have 58 mins and change...8 gb card.
Cheers
