I was wondering if someone could answer this for me. I have a small video production company and I use a DVX100B. I have been waiting for something like this to shoot in HD. Would the new Lumix GH-1 be a viable upgrade into the HD world from my DVX?

Yes, I think it would be a pretty much ideal upgrade.....assuming the features it has are the ones you want. (EG: Some people have this fondness for XLR inputs.)

I don't mind the inputs. I don't record a whole lot of audio anyway. I just figured now is good timing to sell my DVX while it's still worth something. Anyone see a flaw in this idea?

you're doing what i'm doing, used the dvx100b for a year working on a local website, i was saving up for one of my own when i discovered this, i have weddings lined up and this seems perfect, you can shoot video and get pictures from something 1/3rd the size of a dvx, 1/3 the weight, and 1/3 the price! (canadian, can you believe they want $4200 for it in nova scotia?!)

GH1 may be a dvx replacement for you but it is not a dvx100 replacement.
Limited sound capabilities
No Zebra stripes
Hard to edit video codec
No external monitoring capabilities
If version 2 added these features then it would be a dvx replacement for the rest of us.
