Well, chalk me up as another guy who bought AE CS4 and then realized it won't work with my Power Mac G5. And I actually called Adobe and asked if it work with my Mac! Of course they said yes. Oh well, at least I can return it, albeit with restocking fee.
I really don't want to buy an intel mac, my G5 is still pretty darn great. Anyone out there want to sell me a CS3 version?

cs3 won't work with your old mac either.

Ah, nuts. I thought CS3 was compatible with the Power Mac G5s. Guess I'm in the market for an intel Mac.
I got cs3 on my g4 rite now.... every works accept for premiere .....

I'm in the same boat. All though it was given to me by my school and works fine on my laptop just not my desktop. Cs3 works fine on the powermac like via said just not premiere. Cs4 works on the powermac as well just not premiere or after effects. I can deal without premiere just not AE. The next version of CS and the next Mac OS will be intel only. Sucks cause my desktop is loaded and super fast.
Anyone want to trade an un-opened copy of CS4 Masters suite for a CS3 version?
I was told by apple that premiere only works on that damn intel processor
