I'm not sure if I'm even doing this the right way, but I edited a whole video in Premiere 6.0 (thats still my favorite), and I wanted to do color correction. I exported the whole thing as an uncompressed .AVI, and imported it into Vegas 4.0. When I play the clip in windows media player or anything, it plays fine, but when its imported into Vegas, it goes black for about the last minute... no audio, no video, nothing. (This has happened before too). The video is about 6 minutes long, and the last minute is not there.
It all works fine on the clip though, so I have no idea what to do... Any suggestions?

I'm getting so fed up, I may just be buying Premiere 1.5, with the color correction in it, cause I hate the whole process I'm doing now.

This ever happened to anyone though?

Make sure that your HD is formatted in NTFS not FAT32. Other than that don't have any idea. It does sound like a pain though to export your entire movie every time you want to color correct. I would say, pick an app and stay with it, crossing over from one to another is not a good workflow.
