Exactly the same way you slow video down. Hold CTRL+Drag. It will slow down or speed up, depending on which way you go.
Vegas 5 does this ridiculously well, but Vegas 4 isn't quite as smooth.

When you right-click an audio clip, you get a menu box. "Reverse" is on it.

Now I'm having trouble.
It seems in Vegas 5 I can speed up an audio clip no problem.
But when I try to slow down a clip, sounds like Crimson & Clover tremolo and echo like. Is there a way to get rid of that when you render or something. I tried rendering to a new track, but the weird effet is still there.

What's the trick?

In Vegas 5.
After you slowdown audio track, rightclick on it, in popup menu select properties, in there select Audio event tab,
Time stretch/pitch shift section, select method Classic, and check box for Pitch change "Lock to stretch".
You can also play with setting there to get best result for your needs.
