Hello,
Question 1: I have the Vegas Demo installed on one of my computers and when I tried to install the version I bought, it said I already had it. I'm guessing the demo version is exactly the same as the purchased version and I should just install it after the demo runs out. Is that correct?

Question 2: I have two computers, and I would like to have Vegas on both of them. The one I currently have will be down for a couple weeks because none of the Keyboard USB jacks work. :( . If I install it on more than one computer can I be busted for Piracy? That may sound stupid, but I just hear about the RIAA going into people's computers and sueing them and shit like that. Do I have anything to worry about? Tim.

A1: I also had the demo version before i got the real deal. I just deleted it and put the full version in. The demo dosn't let you do all of the things the full version does, atleast mine didn't.

A2:I have vegas 5 on two of my PCs. All you have to do is call up the number in the manual and tell them what you want to do and its all good. you will set it up on your second pc just like you did on the first. I think the max is two computers but if your pc configuration changes than you have to get a new code anyway.

The Demo version is exactly the same as the full version (IF) you put in the activation code, ie. the CD code that is inside the Vegas book. Once you use this code the full version is able to be accessed. In fact, each time you update Vegas ie. 5.0a to 5.0b you install a whole new version of the software, downloaded from the sony site. Yes you can also install vegas on multiple machines, as well as the render client that allows you to use multiple machines to render a single file from a vegas timeline.
