Dumb question time.

If I render a little movie to Quicktime, what settings would I use.

The file would be for posting on a web site, like you guys do, so that people can just click on it and watch the little image on their screen. What settings do you use whrn I watch your posted trailers and such? They are small on my screen. About 2 x 3 inches.

Thanks

Personally, for posting on the web, especially from vegas, I have found that the WMV compression is best, plus it has little presets that you can use for the web. However, to answer your question, what I have tried in the past is first, scaling the video size to half the size (square pixels) and then using the sorenson squeeze compression, between 70-85% gives a pretty decent video and small file size. But with Quicktime, I have found that experimentation is best.

I have been selecting MPEG 2 and then using the Sorenson codec to select my final sizes.
