did barry make a video for the hpx-170 like he did for the hvx200?
probably going to get the cam in another week or two.

No, there's no new DVD for the HPX170, but there's a 98% overlap with the HVX BootCamp DVDs. The 170 has a couple of new functions and no tape drive, but other than that, it's completely operationally identical to the HVX200. Everything on the DVDs, except for Tape mode, applies to the 170.

oh cool, i didnt know it was that identical to the hvx in terms of use. i already have those hvx dvds.

You get a Barry's Updated book with the camera and it highlights and explains the few 170 only features.
