Using magic bullet with EX1 profiles

A bunch of people looked at this question down in the software forum but no answers. So I'll try here since it is specific to the EX-1

I've been hearing alot about Magic Bullet Looks lately. I want to understand the "proper" application, if there is one, for the software.

Does one shoot as "RAW" as you can, without picture profiles, and then run the footage through magic bullet?

Trying to decide whether to spend the time creating PPs or just do it all in post with MB.

If you have time and you need to have different looks for every scene I'd do it in post. If you need to deliver quick then id tweak the PP and you're ready to hand out files once you're done shooting.

Also PP's can be used to control highlights (amongst other things) and thats important because you can't easily recover info in post if you overexpose or underexpose.

It all depends on the project. I use them both according to the projects needs.
