New Camera & Software, under 10k?
Not trying to start a war here but wanted some straightforward opinions. I’m looking at buying a new MacBook Pro 17inch so that I can have dual boot OS’s.
The camera and software is where I’m having the tough decision. I mainly shoot fire/police for in house documentation and training, lots of motion, on the run, timelapse, and darkness(SWAT stuff).
I really like the ability to shoot slow motion/overcranking footage and lean towards the HVX-170 and FinalCut, but I‘ve also herd great things about the Sony EX1&3 and Vegas 8 or FC, but Sony is quite a bit more $$$?
Lastly, I already own and DVX100B and have a host of 35mm Nikon lens(14-24/2.8, 17-35/2.8, 70-200/2.8, 50/1.4, D3 Bodies) so does one of those work with 35lens adapters better?
I’ve read some other posts, including Honker’s, and just wanted to list my specific needs to see if anyone can help me. Thanks.
