HELP PLEASE

I am trying to create a ghots like effect, by filming the scene with no actors, then filming it again with actors in keeeping the same camera angles. And what i want to do is turn down the opacity(if that is the right word?) of the shots with the actors in then over lap it on the shot with no actors giving me a hopefully ghost like effect..

So my question being how do I turn down the opacity, and secondly how do i over lap to the shots?

Adjust your LEVELS.

This is located on the Track List bar on the left of each Track.

If you are looking to connect; Click the little Bent Arrow that is far left on TRack list.

cheers john, i see what you mean with the levels, but im not sure what you mean by connecting them with the bent arrows?

When i manually just put them both on the same time line how do Ichange what layer is on top?

Hi Kyle

The arrows I meant to say are for making a composite (parent or child). *They are on the Extreme Left (Of course I'm still in Vegas 4). *

You can simply Drag the track you want to be on top or bottom by Click and Holding whichever Track you want and Dragging it up or down (Like Photoshop does)

thanks for all the help. I have managed to achieve quite a cool ghost effect of a person walking down a hallway.
