I'm looking at finalizing a film and need a little help with a screwy situation... My goal is to use a process outlined in "The DV Rebel's Guide" by Stu Maschwitz. The procedure I plan to do is this: the film is already edited in Premiere. I will render out the final audio edit as an audio file. Then I will import the Premiere project to After Effects for some effects and color work. Then, I will do the master render as an image sequence. Last step will be to go back into Premiere and overlay the audio and the image sequence for the final output.
Now here's the problem. The footage has pulldown that was never removed. My plan has been that when I go into AE, I'll just use the AE pulldown removal. The thing I am wondering is this: the audio file will be timed based on the 29.97i pulldown footage. Will I have any problems when I try to line it back up with the 24p finalized image sequence?
