Hello,

I have created a 4min promo video for a client and posted it to Youtube. The client is wanting to burn the .mov file to a disk to distribute, but finding the file too large(910mb). I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion(exporting options?) in terms of making this file smaller. I am using toast 9, Mpeg Streamclip and Final Cut Express.

I am wondering if exporting the .mov to an .avi( or some other format) would give me the results I'm looking for?

* the client is not concerned with quality loss*

Thanks in advance for thoughts...

Michael

H.264 and WMV 9 are some good ones for online HD distribution, and they should compress OK down for DVD burning.

I would just spend the $0.42 to mail them a proper DVD though...
