Has anyone had their 170 record the same thing to two different clips?

I recorded a concert Saturday and found that my 170 recorded the same song twice on my 16gig P2 card. The timecode is the same for both files if you match them up. The duplicate clip was only a partial of the "master" clip. So instead of an entire song the duplicate clip started much later than the original.

I'll have to check the set list but it sure seems like I am missing some songs that I know were recorded.

It's like files were overwritten by this rogue clip.

The original clip is 0025A9.MXF A second clip with the exact same song is 0026CX.MXF.

So two totally different clips of the same thing. Not sure how the 170 made a partial duplicate clip but it kind of has me worried that I may have something more important overwritten in the future.

Were you using two p2 cards and might you have accidentally span a clip across the p2 cards?

It wasn't spanned, it was a several minute long partial duplicate.

It wasn't like the clip carried over to another card. This is on the same card. There is one full complete song on one of the clips and then on the SAME card is a totally different clip that has 3/4th of the same exact song.

Ok, so here's a picture of the two different clips on my FCp timeline:

Here's a QT movie of the two clips with timecode:http://www.silverphoenixllc.com/mxf.mov

Same exact footage but from two different clips on the same card.
The partial duplicate clip I believe overwrote some of the other clips that were on the card because I am missing songs that should have been on that card.

Was the cards completely full when you offloaded it?
