I saw this press release while looking for images of the E-series cards.

Anyone confirm this? If anyone goes by the booth, try and get some prices!

The picture of the cards shows that these are A series cards. That's interesting, who would want to announce a fresh source of A cards when the new E series is what's on everyone's wish list now.
Also, looks like Fuji has reaffirmed its so-called "commitment" to P2, with a new line of E series cards:

We'll see if these ever show up in the U.S. market.

Can someone find out if Maxell is also going to make E series cards? Also if the fuji and maxell cards are going be sold in north america? I love to have another manufacturer's cards even if it only saved me $30-50 bucks

I know that, what I want is fuji and maxell to make cards in that same E series as well. Hopefully they'd be like $50 cheaper than the already cheap panasonic ones. I'd rather buy from a company other than panasonic to support the fact that p2 can be a growing standard and maybe other people would start making them as well and maybe other camera companies would sign on (the way jvc joined sxs).
