Hi, I am relatively new to video production and I have seen very good impressive work of people using Magic Bullet Looks. I own a HVX200A , a Mac Pro and use FCP. I am thinking about buying this software , I just want to make sure it will make a difference in my work since what I am planning to shoot is music videos and short films..... like I said I am kinda new to this and using preset looks is my best option right now. Is this software good for music videos/short films? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
Magic Bullet Looks is a really great product, although you can also achieve good results/nice effects 'by hand' in for example vegas, final cut or premiere. I think that magic bullet is perfect to get quickly great looks (render times are a bit longer than the standard plugins in your editing program though) plus every effect is made out of one or more elements (filters, vignettes, curves, etc.) that could be tweaked virtually limitlessly (? proper english:P) so...go for it!

It all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. My advice, download the free trial version from Red Giant the first before you purchase it
magic bullet looks is great. by far one of the more valuable post-effect tools out there...
if you take time to learn the ins and outs you will find a never-ending journey of creative opportunities.
