Meaning when will all the products that will be announced will have been announced? That way I don't have to worry about buying something and something twice as badass comes out the day after.

Most big annoucements come out on the first day. (As the idea of companies at NAB is making the products available to potential cutomers.)
Most announcements happen simultaniously at 9:00am when the trade show floor opens.

It would be nice if they announced a fifty percent reduction in the price of P2 cards . . . <g>.

They did:
E Series 64 GB p2 card will run about $1000 MSRP.
Less lifespan however, but cheaper and faster.

Yeah, I saw the announcement . . . how cool is that!!!
I'm all in for a couple of 64's now -- was going for 2 32's . . . glad I waited.
