HVX200 won't read SD card; error

Hey all, I'm trying to do the frame rate hack on an HVX200 and I've followed all the instructions but everytime I tell the camera to read the scene files from the card, I get "Read NG: Format Error". I've tried two different cards, neither work on this camera, but they BOTH work fine on the B camera we have. Any ideas? Thanks.

the card has to be formatted by the camera first. then you can write to it with a PC

That's correct, but it won't even let me format the card, it says "Format Error" once you press format card.

This thing happened to me 2 times already. What I did was put the card in write-protect mode. Try to format it. Of course I will get the error that it's write protected. Then I disable the write-protect. And it suddenly formats successfully. Weird but it worked both times. :Drogar-Thinking(DBG
