new owner of ex1 quality issue with vimeo

Im fairly new to editing with HD and just got the pmw ex1. I used the xdcam transfer tool on my mac to import the files into my final cut studio 2. I edited a little bit and exported it out as a quicktime movie. I recorded this video at 1080/60i
now ive seen other peoples footage uploaded and mine looks horrible compared to theirs. the edges seem to get frayed looks like interlacing im not sure can someone please help. here is the video I uploaded to vimeo.

you will get that jaggy look with any cam when shooting 60i. computers don't replay interlaced video like tv's do. if you are shooting for the web, shoot progressive. otherwise, if you need to shoot 60i for whatever reason, deinterlace it before compressing for the web. that cuts your vertical rez in half but since it's for the web it won't make much difference.
