I liked some of what I had, but it needed a little touching up, mostly css and divs vs the old tables. If anybody cares to shake it down, it would be appreciated. I will let you know, it is not 100% yet, and not all the links are in place, like the artwork thumbnails... but it has been kicking my ass, and I am tired.
Old site- www.video-alchemy.com (http://www.video-alchemy.com)
New site- www.video-alchemy.com/v3/ (http://www.video-alchemy.com/v3/)
Extra points if you can figure out why the remote doesn't slide out on all pages in I.E. I am also curious as to how it looks across the other browsers.
Thanks

I think the pages might have poltergeists though. I created thumbnails for the artwork page, and sized them at 100px x 100px. But whenever I put them on the page, they blow up to like 400x400, no matter how often I set the image size to 100x100.

Blue text on grey on left column, gotto go. I can hardly see that navy blue on that grey background. It's looking good, Capt.

You need a new pic with your post-P90X bod.

Charli, I'm making baby steps out of my dark colorized lifestyle, and I started with the bluish splash in the header. I thought the blue text would compliment that. What would you recommend?
Jason, I gots what I gots, and it's all natural :)

The same yellow as the 'alchemy' that you have or a slight variation of it. Try that and see if it works.

I agree with charli. The blue text is hard to read on the menu buttons. Try white or the yellow.
That big lens takes up a lot of valuable real estate. Can you place your logo on top of it or something? Maybe the "Have camera, will travel."
Keep fiddling with it. You're almost there.

Ok, try the yellow... that just sounds wrong for some reason.
And PK, On the front page, there really isn't a whole lot of content, so real estate is cheap :)

Capt - the yellow doesn't work, I think it's the background of the buttons. Try making the buttons blue background with white text and see if that works. The yellow fades out if the pointer is over it.
Just a suggestion.

Ok, been busy the past week, and I think I finally came out on top of this redesign. Let me know what you think, and if there are any bugs in your browser.
And thanks for your input :)

I would 'dull' the yellow after you roll-mouse on the buttons, dull the yellow on 'have camera will travel.." and dull the yellow on all of your subheadings. The yellow needs to look more like Alchemy, or a variation of it.
Have you thought about brightening the grey on 'video' on your heading, it's a bit dull.
Oh, capt, don't want to goof you up, but I notice color right up.

Well, I was trying to work out the gold, and work in more blue. But, gold does look good with the rest of it.

Oh, capt, don't want to goof you up, but I notice color right up.Me too... black is a color, and easy to match up. But there's all sorts of folks who complain "it's too dark, it needs more color!" You got it... more black ;)
