HVX Auto White DOA

On a shoot today - tried to auto white on an interior set lit by mix of tungsten and flourescent. Filled the frame with a white card. Kept getting an orange color balance. Preset color is OK on daylight and tungsten. BUT any attempt at a white balance on A or B results in a heavy orange image. Pulled the battery, reset the camera, tried different record setups but still no blanced image on A or B. Bars look good on the LCD.
As well as the preset white balance.
Anyone else seen this???

Hmmm. The only thing I can think of is that the card did not have an appropriate mix of the tungsten with the florescent. Only thing i could think of.

Camera goes to the shop tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Camera balances white to Orange. Put white card in frame - hit white balance - entire frame goes orange. If I white balance on brown - camera sees brown as white and I have a proper white balance. bizaro!

Have you tried doing the WB in a different lighting environment, say outdoors?
