Looking for feedback pros and CONS of verizon phones and Blackberrys. Specifically, I'm considering going for the Dare OR maybe a Blackberry. Any user feedback on the Storm? Pearl? Curve? Thanks in advance.

I gots me the LG dare... nice phone, but some tinks in it I don't like

As for blackberry's i would have one right now if it weren't for the lame Blackberry Email and Interweb $30 added to your bill... thus i went with a nonblackberry

What are the things that bug you about the Dare?

I do like the Storm. I've been nothing but frustrated with Verizon's customer service, though.

I've been with Verizon for...10 years? Something like that. I've never had any issues. The only thing that kind of sucks is no free incoming call packages and free nights don't start until 9PM. US Cellular does a lot better, but I heard their service kind of blows.

Can't speak to Blackberrys. Even though I'd probably be a prime canididate to purchase one (clients, finance), I just can't wrap my mind around why I would actually ever need one...

I have not had a bill yet which didn't need to be adjusted because they screwed something up.

I've had verizon forever and I'm not looking to switch carriers. I too am a "prime candidate" for a Blackberry but I don't want to really be that tied to my email and the expectations of immediate responses always. I just wonder if I were to go with the Dare, perhaps I should just get over it and go with the BB. The BB plans do cost more though and that is a factor/excuse... Keep the feedback coming.

I haven't used the DARE but Verizon keeps a ton of its phones (aside from Blackberrys) pretty well locked out of the internet so if this is a big concern for you, I would definitely pick up a Berry.

Don't have Verizon but I do have a Blackberry. It is a nice phone but internet is difficult to navigate and pretty slow.

What are the things that bug you about the Dare?

My hands are too quick... and the phone doesn't pick up on my typing that fast

i bought the i760 a few weeks ago, no complaints so far, touch screen, full keyboard. The main reason i bought it was because it was a smartphone, that did not *require* any sort of data plan! it even has built in wifi so u can use the internet in a hotspot if u don't buy the data plan

I've been with Verizon for about 5 years with no complaints. I really want an iPhone, but am hesitant to switch carriers because of the rumors that a Verizon version may come out next year. I thought about the blackberry, but just hated it compared to the iPhone.

My roommate has a blackberry and loves it, but he's an accountant and works on the PC/Microsoft Office all day long. The iPhone feels like I'm still using my macbook, only smaller.

I've been with Verizon for about 5 years now and much longer with home phone. Never had an issue until last year when I purchased the Black Berry 8830. It's been giving me all sorts of problems, I even returned it and got another one and still the same problem... I want the Storm but too expensive. I'm hesitant to get another blackberry because I'm scared I might have the same issues, but maybe it was just that 8830 Model that was screwed up...

If Verizon do come out with an Iphone... that would be nice. Anyway, just stay away from the 8830 and you should be good.
