I am looking to set up my HVX to shoot footage that looks like old 50's/60's home 8mm movies. I shot some cross processed 8mm Ektachrome a few years ago and want to try my best to replicate it on my HVX. I was just at the Panasonic scene file page and they had a file called OLPHOT but it doesn't have that X-Processed look. Any Ideas on how to get me to the look I want? I'd rather not buy a bunch of 8mm to get this effect.

I intend to add the grain digitally in post production.

Take a look at the Red Giant Filters. I am sure they have something that will work for you there.
Best,

Ian is right: this in an effect to achieve in post production.
It's much better

Well if I drop the money on a DFX kit... (I was suggested the Tiffen DFX filter). But at the rate these things are selling for I could just shoot it on S8. Anyone? A DP friend of mine suggested I balance though a red filter, drop the ped and burn all the whites....
