So my office at Fox turns out to be directly behind the giant X-Men Origins: Wolverine billboard, at Motor and Pico.

Not as cool as Doctor Evil's behind-the-Hollywood-Sign Lair, but not bad, either...

Guess Battuta thought better of that crack...

You work at Fox? Now we know who to blame directly... ;)

Weren't you working on Avatar at some point? Are you still on that project, which is a Fox picture as far as I remember?

Cool secret lair though. I always thought it would be cool to have a secret underground lair underneath an old barn or corn silo. The silo would just be the entranceway, and would have an escape rocket ship as a last resort.

Avatar was a while ago, now. Yes, it's a Fox show. Well, it's a Cameron show for which Fox put up $$$...

Do you have a/c? lol, I'm serious, that's the first thing I noticed about California apartments and homes, no a/c, which can suck. Oh, the hotel I worked at did not have a/c.

We're air-conditioned. Although some of the older buildings on some of the older lots aren't; a while back I spent most of a summer working in a non-air-conditioned office at Sunset-Gower. Fortunately the place was well-ventilated...

LOL, Sunset and Gower. I work there off and on, in the studios.

I always kind of liked SG Studios. Yes, it's cramped and the floors slope every whichway and some of the offices are obviously repurposed attics and closets and bathrooms and there are a lot of missing amenities (like AC, elevators, and restrooms on every floor) but the stages are functional and the place has a lot of old-Hollywood charm.

A bit less, now that they've finished that monstrous new office building.

You shoudl get a pic when you can - of course, then it woudln't really be a secret lair ....
not that it's a big secret anymore anyhow.
:)

(By the way - living in Texas, the idea of not having A/C sounds like torture to me)
