DIY 35mm DOF adapter NEED HELP!

I have been doing some research on DIY 35mm lens adapters for the DVX. I have found a lot of great plans, but I have chosen Daniel Schweienert's vibrating DOF adapter. http://www.jetsetmodels.info/tutorials.htm

SO.... Has anyone used these plans before?

If so, have any trouble or have some tips?

Got different plans that worked well?

Have any tips for finding cheap parts?

I am looking to spend total $300 or less on a quality lens adapter. Please share your experience! :dankk2:
