Picking up a Blu-ray today!

So, our DVD player keeps acting bizarre, so I'm off to Best Buy to pick up a Blu-ray player. I'm excited about the true 24fps and the upconversion of my current DVDs (as most of them, lots and lots of animation, will never be released on Blu-ray, or would have need to).

Well, you already had "true 24p" if your old player was progressive-scan. :)

I've got no idea!!!! I think there was a progressive mode on my Panasonic DMR-ES35V.

Regardless, I'm super excited!

I wonder if my old Batman the Animater Series or X-files DVDs will look better!

Glad I didn't buy the first three Star Wars films, either, as I'm sure those will look and sound pretty friggin spectacular on this machine!
