I have the PHU-60K Hard Drive, but since i got my KxS adapters with 16Gb cards, I have no use for it anymore. It stays in my bag as a backup.
I wonder if it is possible to open it and replace the mechanical harddrive(my guess) with a solid state drive. The question is what interface does it have.
And then if you can replace it, Sony should upgrade the firmware so that one can use solid state drives with a higher capacity than the 60Gbyte.
With this drive I got a lot of " restore media" messages. I guess it has to do with the the fact that it is mechanical and not solid state or is the interface too slow? Anyway, we have to say thanks to this drive otherwise we would have been sticked to the SxS "money laundering" modules.
