Hi, I was wondering if anyone owns or has used the schneider/century fisheye hd adapter (http://www.schneideroptics.com/Ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1545&IID=6825) on the hpx. They just made the extreme fisheye adapter (http://www.schneideroptics.com/Ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1074&IID=5875) but I rather not spend $3500. If anyone has any screenshots or test footage using the fisheye adapter on a hpx could you please post some links? Thank you.

95% of the follow cam shots in this video series are done with that lens. http://www.jeffheit.com/beartreats14tws.mov

Damn, I'm sold. Looks like the perfect wide to me. Footage looks great and the kids are stylie!

Was your video shot on the hpx or the hvx? The reason I am asking is because from the specs century provides for the hvx with an extreme wide lens is equivalant to a 17mm lens on a 35mm camera and the normal 0.45 wide lens on the hpx is equivalant to a 13.2 lens on a 35mm camera. Good video by the way.

Just FWI, the 16x9 inc fisheye happens to be wider and has more barrel distortion then the Century Optics fisheye for the HPX/HMC. As far as the Xtreme fisheye, well i'm sure this will be even wider on the hpx/hmc than it will on the HVX.

95% of it was on an HPX just a few shots where with the HVX. The lens is perfect for me. I would not want it to be any wider or have more distortion.

I have the century hd fisheye adapter for my hpx and for the size and weight its a pretty sweet deal. Unfortunately for the action sports world it's not really wide enough in my opinion.

The video below any fisheye shots were with the HD fisheye lens. Hopefully sooner than later I will have one of the Extreme Fisheyes.

This video was shot with the HPX170 and 16x9inc. Fisheye adapter.

Not as wide but much much lighter than the HVX200/Century Extreme Fisheye combo.
I love the fact that I can take the 16x9 fisheye on and off easy and don't have to worry about rod support. What would be amazing is a compact fisheye for the HPX170/HVX200 with the wideness of the Century Extreme.

The 16x9 is so much more lightweight and all around easier. But the results on the Xtreme are by far the best out there.
