*To start off, if I'm doing something against the rules, I'm 100% unaware of it and I apologize. Mods can feel free to remove this thread or slap me on the wrist or take away my friends and family and put me in some Viet Kong prison camp, whatever is necessary.*
All of us have things we're really good at, and things we're really not good at. And I happen to be a terrible writer (well, not really, I just don't enjoy it much.) But I do enjoy making films. I was wondering if there happens to be some poor soul out there who has a magnificent script for QuestFest, but doesn't have the time/crew/tools/[insert excuse] to make it. I happen to have a decent amount of time and decent tools (Canon GL2 and Redrock(Not high def, i know i know...)). But its better than nothing... In other words, I would like to make someone's script a reality.
I'd like to follow through with a script that's a little more "out of the box." Instead of the typical or expected script, it'd fun to do something thats a bit more of an unexpected quest. I'm a senior in high school, so my most readily available actors are teenagers, but I do have a few early twenties and older actors I can hit up.
I have pretty good compositing/effects abilities, but I'd rather not do something special effectsy (No gun fights, no cheesy stuff.)
If you have a script or a script idea, please, hit me up and tell me about it. I would love to make a film, but I simply can't think up a good story. And I figure somebodies gotta have a good story out there, right?
