slow motion with hv20 - settings?

Hi,

I am trying to capture a smooth slow motion for my video, like you would see in many music videos. what are the settings to use for the hv20? i usually have been using cine mode, but on this one video, the guy says to use TV mode 50i, shutter 120. what do you guys recommend? i thought cine mode was suppose to provide the best quality? please explain. sorry for being a noob.

For creating slomo in post, shoot using standard HDV 50i,PAL or 60i NTSC with a fast shutter speed.
