AE squeezing dvcpro hd footage

Hi, I am having issues whenever I bring my hpx170 clips into after effects. Whenever I import the clips and put them into a new composition it squeezes the footage into a 4:3 composition the comp settings are dvc pro hd 720 29.97 with the pixel aspect ratio dvcpro hd 720 (1.33). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Right click on your footage and check the "interpret footage". Make sure its bringing it in properly.
