This camcorder is sick, crystal clear footage and good manual controls, but I thought my computer was able to handle the high resolution videos, when i tried to edit the videos on vegas the video is hesitant and skips around. I have a laptop with centrino duo core processor @ 1.7 ghz and 2 gigs of ram and still its too slow, I'm not sure what to do, get a better computer or transcode it to a compressed format. Any advice? Does anyone know a good lossless transcoder program that I can use to compress my video files?
