This is a commonly known thing I am sure, but I just had this actually happen to me and I just feel like sharing it to the world cause I'm pretty excited nah mean?
For awhile I've known that if you "trash your prefs" in final cut it can fix a lot of random problems. I've never actually seen it fix a problem until now.
For about a week my audio would refuse to render. The red bar stayed no matter how many times I hit apple + R.
I just trashed my prefs, and now suddenly everything renders perfectly.
