Scrolling speed problem

I'm wanting to adjust the speed in my credits for a video I'm working on. Right now it's at 100%, but I want to speed up my credits. When I adjust to 150% and select out, a window pops up that says

"Unable to complete command. A conflict occurred during a trim operation."

Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you using the Scrolling text built in to final cut? If so there is no need to do a speed change. The scroll speed is based off the length of the clip. If you need to speed the scroll up, Just shorten the clip up.
