In terms of editing, what advantages/disadvantages are there to shooting in 60p vs. 24p compression on the HVX? I typically shoot 24p and edit at that timebase, but I was using someone else's HVX and it was left in 60p. What does this mean in terms of editing? I noticed that when I shot 60fps I still had sound, which doesn't happen when you're shooting at 24p compression.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

you should still have sound shooting in 24p...

there are no compression differences between the two. they're both DVCProHD.
