This could very well be a dumb question, but its worth a shot...

Do most of the musicians expect $$ in return for their music, or are they really all about the "true film making?" And everyone offering themselves to do scores, are you looking to get paid, or just a credit at the end?

I think denpending on budget the film and mainly composer time, number of works etc..
In my case some scores was been paid and some scores not
credits are important ..but I think all composer in this fest works for other company labels (PSI records, soundiva in my case or x-raydog ect etc) and they receive their payment from those one...DVX fest is important for any composer how want to learn more about film score we have in here a good chance to score different kind of films

Justin, Very strange. The text of the URL looks correct, yet when I click on the link it does not put the proper text in the url. It leaves off the ".com". I have gone in to edit the signature, but it looks OK.

Highlight your address, and press the little link with a red X through it, and then press the little icon with a planet and a link in front of it and write your whole web address. Thats the proper way to setup links.

I'm looking for a composer for my submission to Trailerfest. The last trailer fest here on DVXUser only had 4 submissions, and there was one prize. So obviously I'm not expecting to make millions with it. Therefore I can't really offer much in compensation other than a credit and DVD. I believe I'm going to be making a horror trailer for TrailerFest on DVXUser, and was wondering if any one has created horror tracks they'd allow me to use for the trailer. I'm working off a $0 budget, so unfortuantely I can' offer anything more than a DVD and a credit. PM if you have anything!
