Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone is interested in starting a facebook group so we can get as many people involved as possible!?
I know I have a couple of friends in the film making community who would love to partake in these competitions.
So just want to get some feedback on what you all think! If the mods are okay with it I could whip one up quick. Or if someone has made on already can you post the link somewhere?

I was referring to one specifically for Questfest. But if not thats cool. It was just an idea.
Why not just talk about it here?

i thought it smart to make it generally for any and all DVXFests so we don't lose the people who joined during LossFest. the group works best as a mailing list of sorts so interested parties can be notified when viewing for the fest starts, and other "milestones".

Ahh I see I see. I just thought that making an individual facebook group for each fest could be useful for pulling in more "new" entries as it would catch someones attention better as it advertises to making a specific film. I agree though that the DVX user group you made is an awseome way of retaining those film makers who have entered previous fests.
Good job on Model/Photographer btw. Very enjoyable! Gave me lots of inspiration. Especially because you weren't useing a super heavy duty camera and for my first film I wouldn't have access to a big camera like that either!

Matt,
Do you have "keeper of the lost" on Vimeo? I'm at work and the computers are limited.
I didn't see it on your YouTube page. The title makes me want to see it :)

Thanks dude I'm about to check that out right now. Luis and I are going back and forth reviewing LossFest submissions still as we are preparing for our "QUEST" flick.
Hope to see you go for it again.

Where are you located? Have you entered any past fests?

Cool,
I'm letting Luis do all the dirty work when it comes to scripts and stuff :)
I'm located in Philadelphia. I'm a newbie to all this but I have teamed up with Luis and even tho he's been doing video stuff for about 3 years he has great knowledge of all this stuff.
He does a lot of TV Commercials for a Philadelphia TV station right from his home studio. He has his own little thing going and he made 2 short films in the past just for fun and never submitted them anywhere and not for nothing but they were pretty good. They even had special effect and all.
He took them down from youtube a little while back because he said he wanted to upload stuff that was more proffessionally made.
I thought they looked good, but I could tell he's picky about quality work.
Alright I see that I have to update my profile so let me let you go.
Best of luck to you and to all of us for this Quest, I'm excited!
See you around!
