Hi, I'm new to these forums and I expect to enjoy my stay! But let's cut to the chase...
I have a DVX100 (not A or B, the original). When I lock either one of my two batteries (an extended life battery and factory panasonic one) in, it is able to move around and feels like it is not completely stable. I found this out, because I was out shooting one day and I bumped the battery slightly with my shoulder and it slid up (probably 2-3mm) and the camera powered off. When the battery is fully down, the camera is fine, but it has that 2-3mm sliding distance that powers the damn thing off. I got around this by duct taping a small wad of duct tape to the bottom of the viewfinder, so it holds the battery in. I am planning on selling it though (and don't want to depreciate the value of it), so I was wondering...
Is there any way to fix this problem?
or
Is this common among the original DVXs?
Thanks so much, I really hope someone can help.
