Hey there, I recently shot part of a music video using my Canon xh a1. I have a couple of indoor shots where I shot the main characters with their backs to a window. The result was what I wanted, the window is compeltely white and blown out giving it a dreamy look while I lit them from the front so that you could still see them. So the characters themselves are not over exposed but the windows behind them are. No Im worried that this may cause some problems in editing, such as aliasing. Should I be worried? I plugged the camera in to my television and it looks great there, but I wont be able to dump the footage on to a computer for a few days and take a look at it in fcp.

Do I have anything to worry about?

Hard to say without seeing a shot. If this is just for fun- then no worries. However if it's intended for broadcast you should check your luma levels and bring them down to broadcast safe if they're out of range.

Yea it is for broadcast. So hopfully all will be well. I hope the editor will be able to adjust the luma levels to avoid any problems.

Luma levels can always be adjusted to be broadcast safe. The concern about over exposure typically is that no detail can be pulled out of those whites if over exposed. Since this isn't what you want anyway it shouldn't be an issue and your editor can make the necessary adjustment which should keep the look you want and still be broadcast safe.
