Ok, so i leave tomorrow morning for my 10 snowboarding documentary. Just want to make sure that what i have in my head is correct.

I will film in 24Pa and edit in a 24p(23.976) timeline. For slow motion i will shoot 60i and conform it to 24p using compressor and cinema tools, that should slow it down 40% correct? i am going to shoot squeeze mode, should be fine with 24Pa correct?

Anything else that i'm missing? or any suggestions for something that may work better? definitly going for the film look.

real quick question, when i go to put my 60i footage into my 24p timeline and FCP asks me if i want to make the sequence settings match my clip settings i should say "no" correct?

your workflow sounds fine...

however, after you put the 60i through compressor and then cinema tools, it will become 23.98 footage. so FCP shouldn't see it any differently.
