I have about 20 Panasonic AY-DVM63AMQ tapes that i used each tape only once when I had my cannon XH-A!, now i am back to using a DVX 100B and want to know can I re-use these tapes again? They are top of line very expensive tapes ( Over 5 bucks each )
or is there a way to quick erase them? I know back in the day using 3/4 inch tape we would just run the tapes over a large magnet. anyway input would be nice

You can re-use them, though it's inadvisable to do it all that much for crucial work. You don't have to erase them.

I'm a weirdo, and I treat my expensive panny tapes like film stock.

Second that!
If you are just experimenting or screwing around (ie: non paying, non reel quality, non important), there shouldn't be any issue, provided they are the same tape stock or at least the same brand as your quality/client tapes (some one verify that using different quality tapes of the same brand won't wreak havoc on your heads).
I don't think you can truly erase mini-dv tapes, you can black-out a previously used tape, but there will be time-code.
