Best solution for video out on macbookpro FCP?

I am wondering if any of you have tips how to output the video to a regular CRT monitor for correct viewing of the images on a MBP with FCP.
The older powerbooks used to have an analog video out now I guess I need some extra gadget.
Which would you recommend?

thanks. thats a pricetag.....close to 1k$ ? All I want is to send my output to a CRT monitor....isnt there anything else? I like that it uses the DVI output and converts on the fly and all but I was wondering if there are more options in the lower price range:Drogar-Love(DBG):

There are less expensive solutions for Mac Pros. But since you're on a laptop, your options are more limited.

If you are only doing SD work, you might be able to find a used AJA IO on ebay or something.

Well,
what for do you need the CRT output?
CC?
Checking titles, field order aso?
If you just like the convenience of having a preview monitor, you could go FW400->Camera->VideoOut to monitor
or
get an Apple converter DVI->S-Video (not sure if this puts out a signal when in FCP though)

You can also attach a 2nd LCD Monitor (one with good color rendition like Eizo or Quato) via DVI and simply use the built in Desktop Preview - it probably all depends on who you are working for and what you are doing most of the time.
If you´re doing a lot of DVD work, checking colors and overscan areas on a CRT is nice.
But almost everything is either viewed on LCDs or Plasmas these days...

But again for serious laptop work with color accuracy, the MXO is it.
