AE is not importing still picture. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
I have no problem importing footage from video.

What is the image format? How are you trying to import them?

jpg,png and gif is not been imported
Only pictures in tiff is imported.

Make sure it is rgb, i know from experience :thumbup:

I know from experience too. it has happened to me tons of times. there's a good chance the picture is cmyk. it's an easy fix in photoshop.

I had no idea. Why doesn't it work with CMYK?

I'm not sure. There could be some setting that allows for it but I just go to photoshop and switch the color to rgb and I'm good to go. It's a 5 second fix but it just gets annoying after awhile.

Why doesn't it work with CMYK?
CMYK mode is for printing purposes. RGB mode is for video. Two completely different approaches to establishing color values. CMYK uses subtractive color, while RGB uses additive color. AE's engine uses RGB. Expecting AE to work with both would be the same as expecting a car to run on both diesel and gasoline.
As has already been pointed out changing the color mode is an easy fix in PS.
