--SORRY, I MEANT THE SONY HDR-SR12.--
---Canon HG21 vs. Sony HDR-SR12.---
My Canon HG21 gives a lot of grain in my footage, so I'm therefore planning on switching it to a Sony HDR-SR12 with higher Mpix and I've heard that the Sony camcorders tries to remove the grain more by blurring it a bit.
Will the Sony HDR-SR12 give me a better image quality than the Canon HG21?
I really need to get that annoying grain away. It mostly occurs at darker spots or on the lighter areas when I have more lighting.
I've tried to adjust the shutter speed, the apperture and the FPS settings (PAL at 50i or 25p), but nothing seems to work. I do get a little bit better images when I turn the "cinema mode" on, but then the colors becomes strange.
Is Sonys 4Mpix better than Canons 2Mpix in terms of grain ammount?
I forgot to mention that i shoot at MXP (24Mbps)
