I'm shooting with the DVX100B at 24p and there is a comb artifact whenever there is movement. Does anyone know what causes this and if there is a way to fix this?

Sounds like you don't have your time line set up right to interpret the 24p and you are seeing the interlacing artifacts from it being embedded in a 60i stream.

Could be. I'm new to editing as I have always hired an editor. Do you know how I can set the timeline correctly?

What editing program are you using?

And what mode (24p or 24pA) was the footage shot in?

Final Cut pro. 24p regular.
