Yep, zip gears. We like those.

Only thing is there is a block that sticks out to hold the two ends of the rack together. Its unavoidable, a pain but better than a big ring all the way round....

A bargain at a mere USD$139 each

I have eleven Nikkors (11 x139 - USD$1529) = NZD$3000+ !!!!

they're good but if you have a lens that moves it's barrel the full 360 you can't use it properly with a FF unit.

The Redrock ones look to be the same way with the block... which are the preferred lens gears that people are using?

And i forgot...not only that this design doesn't work well with full 360 rotation but it doesn't work at all if you want to use a double wheel FF unit or want to switch one wheel from one side to the other.

Both Cinevate and the makers of SGpro have designs without a blocking mechanism though I haven't used either one so i cannot tell you how good they are.

In my experience very few lenses have 360 degree or rotation. Most don't even come close. The Cinevate design is well built, but it's meant more for permanent gearing. It took me a good 15-20 minutes to fit one of my lens. Definitely not meant to be hot swap on set. The RR design goes on and off in minutes, at the expense of a slightly larger profile and no 360 degree traverse.
