Reducing size of completed AE composition?

Hey everybody,
I just finished a composite of still image elements that I am really excited about. Problem is, the images were a much higher resolution than DV and the composition size results in a much larger render than I need.
I thought about trying to recompress the rendered AE video to a smaller size with Compressor, but would like to be able to do this in AE to preserve quality.
Is there an easy way to bring the size of the rendered comp down to DV without resizing all the keyframed elements of the composition? What a mess that would make!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What size is the original Comp?

Create a new DV sized comp and import the original comp to it. Should work if the original comp is similar aspect eg 4:3 or 16:9 otherwise you will have some work to do repositioning and keyframing stuff.

Can't you just pre-compose all of your stuff and open a new comp with the sizes you want and drop the precomp file into it and scale it to fit the comp? Am I totally mis-interpreting the question?
