This is an idea I had for a DIY stabilizer. What do you think? Would it be as bad as the music?

i can't imagine holding that with the horizontal handle...and lose the chickens.
is that a metal rod, or a coated steel cable that the hub is attached to??...please elaborate on this design

Haven't got the horizontal handle worked out. Mainly, do you think a bicycle hub might work as the main lateral movement bearing?

No I think he means hang a cowbell off of it as a counterweight. :)
