View Full Version : Replacing Footage with longer shot?

I have a project I like but I worked on it using a shorter cut of the take. I replaced the footage but can't seem to figure out how to extend the project to include the full shot.

Hey Roberto, if I understand you correctly simply go into composition settings and make the comp longer. Also, you may have to extend effect layers/solids.

Yea, you got it, and I actually found that. I tried it but for some reason it seems the effect of err... well, my effects, disappeared.
I added enough time for the duration of the shot which is 14sec, so I made the comp 15sec... but then I toggle my effects layer on and off and get no difference at all..

Ok... I think I got it to work now, but I am just not seeing the effect that I saw yesterday. I wonder what key frames are set.
a. How do I set keyframes for my adjustment layer so I can fade the effect in at a given point?
b. How do I remove Yellow from my matte?
